A Sunday Spent exploring Video

Last Sunday I spent the afternoon just exploring some roads I have never driven down. To my surprise after living most of my life in Tobago, it continues to share it’s secrets with me.
I found some cool SUP spots also. Enjoy.

Jimbo’s Birthday Paddle

James has been one of my best friends for years. This year his whole family came to Tobago for the ultimate birthday and Christmas lime. Luckily for me I was able to take James, his son Alex (my godson), and Bunty (James Mum) for a paddle for his birthday. Alex number 2 joined for the lime. We paddled from Pigeon Point to Cocoreef and back. A brilliant day!

Happy birthday Jimbo!

Another Awesome Bioluminescence Tour

Here are a few photos from one of our last Bioluminescence Tours. The wind started off a little strong at the start but as we got into the lagoon it got very still and we managed to see lots of Bio, not to mention spotting a sting ray twice. Over all an awesome night. Here Are a few photos from the trip. Please excuse the quality but iPhone does a pretty good job at night on the sea none the less.

Katherine and Amber A Birthday SUP

Katherine and Amber are some good Trini friends of mine who live in London. Amber organised a stand up paddle lesson for Katherine’s birthday. I thought I was just taking them for a leisurely paddle up the coast but the ladies wanted to charge waves and challenge themselves. They were fantastic. Another great tour, lime, paddle. Can’t wait to take them out again.

The Shaw's Stand Up Paddle

In November I attended the World Travel Market in London to promote the Tobago Travel Guide App. At the show I was constantly attending seminars and missed meeting George Shaw, a travel editor for PSA Publishing. Luckily one of my good friends Diane Newton (wife of the famous Bird Watching Guide, Newton George), mentioned Stand Up Paddle Tobago. Last month the Shaw family came to Tobago on vacation and this is but a snippet of one of the many adventures that they went on. It was a great pleasure to teach them to Stand Up Paddle on Pigeon Point and I look forward to taking them on another SUP adventure in the future.
